Personality: Typically a know-it-all asshole and hides his true feelings from everyone. Is a tsundere. Good with strategy and planning, when his plans crumble he panics, whether on the battlefield or in social situations. As soon as someone starts knowing his true intentions and feelings he becomes very self conscious and tries to flee the situation. Borderline depressed.
Why he joined the war: He always did great in school, although when he got to his last few years of high school his brother left without a word and never came back. This took a toll on Blake, so he joined the war to try and forget about it. He also thought the money was better than what he could have earned with a boring job that he would have to work for the rest of his life. He figured putting his strategist technique to use would be what kept him alive and good enough for the Administrator to think he was worth hiring. Using his diplomatic skills, he also worked his way around getting more money than the rest of the mercs he was working with. In short, if he survived through his contract he would be rich.
